Over 10 years ago I started to develop eczema, first on my face, then on my back. This felt normal, as both my sister and dad had battled bouts of eczema over the years so I knew what to expect. It was only later on when I started to become more conscious of it, specifically when going on group summer holidays.

However, over time you learn to accept your skin, and realise there are many others that have it worse than you do. Ultimately there isn’t a real cure – so why let it bring you down?
